Refurbishment of an Edwardian terrace house in Haringey. The project makes careful interventions into the existing fabric and reuses existing materials to create new spaces on an economical budget. Alterations to the masonry structure are limited and refrained, with functional joinery and a flexible kitchen added.
The stepped footprint allows the garden to retain the privacy of a terrace. Colour and texture are added in the garden through familiar materials to create an unexpected and rich pocket within a densely residential area of London.
